The members of the Green Township Volunteer Fire Department are thrilled to share that we have been selected by Lowes Home Improvement and Point of Light as a 2023 Lowes Hometowns Project!
The Lowes Hometowns are projects that restore and revitalize community spaces that will make our community a better place. The Green Township Fire Departments application was to improve the bathrooms at our firehouse to make them ADA compliant and to use enviromentally friendly materials. Furthermore, we will be adding a handicap accessible shower to the firehouse. These renovations will allow the firehouse to be a compliant FEMA shelter in times of emergency.
